Senior Food & Beverage Staff

Hotel Renmark | Casual 30 + Hours

Hotel Renmark is looking for Senior Food & Beverage Staff to join our team.

This is a hands-on hospitality role working across bar and food service, with the opportunity to take on additional responsibility as a Team Leader during selected shifts.

You’ll be part of the everyday operation — serving customers, working behind the bar, taking orders, running meals and providing great service — while also being someone the team can rely on to provide direction and support when required.

About the Role

Your duties will include:

• Providing friendly, professional and efficient food and beverage service

• Working across restaurant and bar service

• Taking orders, serving meals and beverages, clearing tables and processing payments

• Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages

• Maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness and customer service

• Assisting with functions, events and busy service periods

• When rostered as Team Leader, helping coordinate the floor and direct staff during service

• Supporting, training and mentoring less experienced team members

• Assisting with customer enquiries and resolving service issues

• Communicating effectively with the kitchen, bar and management team

• Ensuring RSA, WHS and venue policies and procedures are followed

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a positive attitude and a genuine interest in hospitality

• Previous hospitality experience, including food and bar service, is preferred but not essential

• Is confident working independently and taking responsibility when required

• Is willing to learn, develop their skills and take on new responsibilities

• Can step up and provide leadership and direction during a shift

• Has excellent customer service and communication skills

• Is comfortable working in a busy hospitality environment

• Is reliable, professional and a strong team player

• Is willing to help train and support less experienced staff

• Holds a current RSA

• Is available across a flexible roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays

Previous supervisory experience is an advantage but not essential. We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and develop, and the confidence to step up and take on additional responsibilities when required.
